Small businesses were in growth mode again when it came to hiring in November, according to the latest CBIZ Small Business Employment Index.
The November index from Independence-based business services firm CBIZ Inc. (NYSE: CBZ), which tracks hiring trends among more than 3,600 companies nationwide that have 300 or fewer employees, showed a 0.26% increase in hiring from September. CBIZ said in a news release on Friday morning, Dec. 6, that the November data “builds on growth displayed in October, a month that historically has not been positive for payroll expansion.”
